Sweet And Sour Red Snapper

Ingredients:

  • Red snapper 1
  • Coarse sea salt 1 tbsp
  • Cooking oil 1 cup

Sweet And Sour Red Sauce:

  • Pineapple juice 2 cups
  • Granulated white sugar 10 tbsp
  • Green bell pepper 1
  • Red bell pepper 1
  • Onion sliced 1
  • Tomato ketchup 3/4 cup
  • Vinegar 5 tbsp
  • Garlic powder 1 tbsp
  • Corn starch diluted 3 tbsp

Culinary Process:

Put salt on the fish and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Shallow fry the fish from both sides, until its golden.

Sweet and sour sauce:

Boil pineapple juice, then add sugar and mix it well.

Then add ketchup and vinegar and let it cook for 2 minutes on low heat.

Add garlic powder, red pepper, green pepper and onion, cook it for 3 minutes.

Mix corn starch with water, add it in the sauce and mix well until its thick.

Put fish in a serving tray and pour the sour sauce on top.

Serve it with boiled vegetables.
