Sticky Dates Pudding

Ingredients:

  • Pilates Dates (Chopped) 200 g
  • Baking soda 1 tbsp
  • Olive oil 80 ml
  • Brown sugar 150 g
  • Vanilla essence 1 tbsp
  • Eggs 3
  • All purpose flour 190 g
  • Chopped walnuts 25 g
  • Baking powder 1 tbsp

For the Caramel sauce:

  • Brown sugar 150 g
  • Butter 60 g
  • Cream 250 ml

Cook all the ingredients of caramel sauce for 5 minutes and mix well.

Culinary Process:

Boil dates, baking soda with 250 ml of water and put them on side.

In a bowl beat oil, sugar and vanilla essence. Then add eggs one by one and beat them nice and smooth.

Then add flour, chopped walnuts, baking powder and dates mixture and fold it nicely.

Transfer it in a baking mould and bake on 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

Prick the pudding with tooth pick and pour caramel sauce and bake for 5 more minutes.

Serve!
