Ingredients:
- Powder milk or 2 litres of Milk
- Cold Water 8 cups ( for powder milk)
- Banana custard 5tbs
- Sugar 1/2 cup
- Jelly 2 colours 2 tbs each
- 1/2 Boiled coloured vermicelli
- Fruit cocktail small tin (washed in water)
- Cham cham sweet 10 pcs (washed in water)
- Bananas 4
- Vanilla ice cream 1/2 litres
If you are using normal milk you are not going to use water in the recipe. Here we are using normal milk.
Culinary Process:
- From 2 litres milk take some milk out in a bowl for mixing custard powder.
- Take milk in a large pot and boil on medium heat. Then add sugar and mix.
- Once its boiled add custard slurry in a boiling milk with continuous stirring. Cook until custard is thick enough. Custard should not be very thin or thick.
- Add 2 tbs of red jelly in 1/4 cup of boiling water mix it well and set aside. Repeate the same process for green jelly.
- Add the broken vermicelli in a boiling water cook for 2 min. Then turn the heat off and cover vermicelli in boiling water for 10-15 min. Strain them out in a bowl.
- Once custard is cooled down add chopped bananas, fruit cocktail, cham cham and square cut jelly pieces and vermicelli. and mix well.
- Add ice cream as well.
- Once cooled, transfer the Lab-e-Shireen to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until chilled.
