Ingredients For Dough:
- 2 Cups Plain Flour
- 2 tbsp Semolina (sooji)
- 6 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Salt
Take all ingredients in a bowl and make a soft dough. Cover and set aside.
For Filling:
- 1 Cup Chana Daal Boiled
- 1 tsp Garlic paste
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Red chillies crushed
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tbsp Cumin
- 1 tbsp Coriander
- 1 medium chopped Onion
Culinary Process:
- In a pan take oil and Saute onion for 1 minute.
- Then add ginger and garlic paste and saute for 2 minutes.
- Then add channa dall, crushed chillies, turmeric, salt, cumin, coriander, and 1 cup of water and cook on low flame for 10 minutes. Turn off the flame and let it cool down.
- Once cooled down mash it with a spoon.
- Make small balls with dough and add 1 and half tbsp of filling and then make a ball again.
- Roll a bit like a cookie.
- Then fry or bake in the oven.
- Serve with sauce.
