Chicken Coal Karahi

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Tomatoes 3-4
  • crushed garlic 6
  • Crushed ginger 1 inch
  • Crushed red chili 1 tbsp
  • Crushed coriander 1 tbsp
  • Crushed cumin 1 tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Dried fenugreek 1 tsp
  • Green coriander for garnish
  • Green chili 2-3
  • Coal 1 piece
  • Oil as required

Culinary Process:

Add oil in a pan, add ginger garlic and Saute for 2 minutes.

Add chicken and cook until it changes colour.

Add tomatoes, red chili, salt and fry for 2 minutes.

Once tomatoes turned into paste, add coriander, cumin, green chili, fenugreek and cook with lid on.

Coal smoke:

Take heated coal and put on the foil on top of the chicken. Put 1 tsp of oil on coal, smoke starts coming, cover with lid for 2-3 minutes. Take the coal out. Karahi is ready.
